Spring

Spring
With the colourful flowers blooming,
In the sunlight brightly glowing,
Bringing the change in the weather the best,
The spring has come in my garden, oh yes!

With birds chirping here and there,
And singing at the top of their voice,
With trees very much, not less,
The spring has come in my garden, oh yes!

With crops growing in rows and rows,
And beautiful flowers like lily and rose,
With the formation of the new leaves,
The spring has come, I’m very pleased!

With the children playing and goofing,
And as usual not liking studying,
Increasing their respect for their mom and dad,
The spring has come at last, I’m very glad!

Winter

Winter
Winters are mostly dreadful times,
Carrying winds as cold as ice,
But still we can enjoy the winters,
With monkey caps and woollen wears.

Winter is one of the best seasons,
To support this there are many reasons,
Shawl, jacket, blazer and coat,
Snowfalls and blizzards, we may note.

In winters we can also see fog,
To warm ourselves, we can jog,
People enjoy by eating hot pakoras,
And also delicious crispy samosas!

So come and enjoy,
The lovely winters,
By many nice things,
Like tea, coffee and warm sweaters!

Dear Mum

Dear Mum
Dear Mum,
While you were out,
A man came about,
And destroyed the seeds I had to sprout.
I was really frightened,
When birds came to me in flocks,
And broke all the clocks,
Also all the shuttle corks!
I can’t tell you how much I was shocked,
When suddenly a bulb fused,
I was rather confused,
But couldn’t find how it happened.
I stared at the mirror in horror,
When it suddenly cracked,
So I’ve gone to call the mechanic,
And I’m sure you’ll call my work fantastic!!!

Sun

Sun
Sun is a yellow star,
From us it’s very far,
It’s like a sunflower,
Packed in a huge blue jar.

The sun rises at a particular time,
It is overhead at noon,
It is very kind,
As it gives its light to the moon.

The sun gives us hest and light,
It can’t be seen at night,
It makes the planets revolve and spin,
It seems as if the sun would always grin.

Forest

Forest
Forest is a wonderful place,
But its trees are decreasing at a fast pace!

Lion is the king of the forest,
Among all, it is the strongest!

Monkey is very naughty,
By brain, it can defeat the lion that’s mighty!

Elephant has a long trunk,
It can suck water when all are sunk!

Bear is an omnivore,
Once it eats honey, it wants more!

Snake is also full of might,
He can kill anyone by his bite!

So don’t cut the trees of the forest,
Or these animals won’t let you rest!

Speed

Speed
Speed is full of fun,
But can be risky if applied as a stunt,
It is also a game,
Speed is always in front.

Nowadays everything runs,
From bows and arrows to guns,
Every vehicle is fast,
As compared to the past.

But friends don’t forget,
That the ‘Old is Gold’,
Fast things won’t be able to compete,
With the era that was of pure gold!

Willy Whong-Sing a Song

Willy Whong-Sing a Song
There was a boy named Willy Whong,
He always liked to sing a song,
‘Hoo La’-‘Hoo La’ he sang,
And crashed against an old man with a bang!

‘Can’t you please shut your mouth?’
Asked the old man with a shout,
‘Make a rule not to laugh,’
Or else I will pull out your scarf!

‘No Uncle, I can’t stop,
As my laugh is at the top,
And if you will pull out my scarf,
Then I’ll surely cut you in half!’

‘Okay, then go and become a famous singer,
Who is like a round and fat ginger,
And please don’t ever come to visit my house,
And finally go and become a mouse!’

Children

Children
Children are like blossoms,
They are totally awesome,
They always like to jump,
Except the children who are plump.

Some children like to read,
But some have the habit of greed,
Some children plant a seed,
And some perform a good deed.

Children are also like stars,
They like to eat chocolate bars,
All children are very cute,
And they like to play flute.

God

God
God is invincible,
He’s also invisible,
He’s the creator of the earth,
It can’t be sold at any worth!

God created all the forests,
As he is the strongest,
He also created mountains and rivers,
God is ubiquitous!

Some people think that god is just a tale,
And if I hear it, I’ll surely wail,
As I think that god is everywhere,
Even in the earth’s thickest layer!

''Where's the Broom???''

Where’s the Broom
One day a Witch said in an angry voice,
‘Where’s the broom that I ride?’
Her pet cat said, ‘I don’t know,’
Then she stared at the Witch, her eyes wide,

‘Where did you keep your broom?’
Asked the cat to the Witch,
‘I had kept it in my bedroom,’
Said the Witch, her voice trembling.

‘Then it would surely be in your bedroom.’
‘No, it’s not; I’ve checked my room thrice.’
‘Then it is probably taken away by mice.’
‘Shut up! You are inviting your death!’

But the Witch had become very furious,
So she burnt the revolting cat to ash,
But it was not a long time when she found,
The good deed of the cat lying on the ground!

She realized that the cat was not lying,
As on her broomstick the mice were riding,
So she took the broom from them and wept,
She was full of grief till her heart’s depth!

Tigers

Tigers
Tigers are our country’s pride,
They stand for bravery, not for a ride,
In the forest they roam around,
In the past they were widely found!

In today’s date tigers have become very rare,
As for them, nobody wants to care,
The hunters kill numerous tigers every day,
And they don’t kill more, we should pray!

After some decades, tigers would only be a tale,
As in protecting them, everyone would be fail,
So please save this priceless creature,
As in the field of bravery, it’s our teacher!

Save Wildlife

Save Wildlife

Wildlife is the life found in a forest,
Among all the animals these are the strongest,
It contains lions, tigers, wolves and bears,
But for them nobody really cares.

Some of these animals are very strong,
Some are short and some are long,
Some of them even like a song,
And the song is ‘Ting-Tong’ ‘Ting Tong’!

Wild animals are very mighty,
As they hold their prey very tightly,
Then they kill it with their sharp teeth
And then they enjoy its delicious meat!

But there are some bad poachers,
Who give these animals many tortures,
They kill them with their gun or knife,
And I again say ‘Save Wildlife!’

Eater Dawn

Eater Dawn
Eater Dawn was a man,
His face was like a burning pan,
As he was fat he liked to eat,
Kofta curry and lots of meat!

His all time favourite was sausages,
But he had not tasted them for ages,
He was so fat that he could be pricked with a pin,
He was a big waste to be put in a dustbin!

He also liked to eat fish,
For him, it was a fabulous dish,
Whenever he got a leisure time,
On the dining table he would dine!

One day his friend advised him a bit,
That he must visit a doctor to become fit,
So Dawn visited a doctor the next day,
And the doctor made him fit by a painful way!

And when he came back he was as thin as a pole,
Disappearing in thin air was now his only goal,
He no longer ate lots of fish,
And only a few pieces were now his dish!

Magicians

Magicians

Magicians are always very cool,
As they make the people fool!

I think they are really very nice,
As they can civilize all the mice!

They can automate a door,
And can make a cockroach roar!

Magicians always like to play,
They can make an eel as sticky as clay!

Magicians can make the clocks shout,
And can make a bed roam about!

School

School
The growing place for children is school,
There they are converted into clever from fool,
In school, the small children study,
And like to make their shoes muddy.

In school, children learn different words,
Also about various animals and birds,
There the children also run and play,
And learn animal sounds like horse-neigh.

In school, the children also pray,
And learn about soils like sand and clay,
In school, every child sings,
And works hard to gain knowledge wings!

The Learning Ladder

THE LEARNING LADDER

When I was in play school,
I learned how to swing,
I also learned counting one two three,
I learned alphabets ABC.

When I was in nursery,
I learned colouring,
I made good friends,
And developed the habit of playing.

When I was in first class,
I played endlessly on the grass,
With my teacher and my friends,
And also learned some new concepts.

When I was in second class,
I learned about various stars,
Had fun with chocolate bars,
And studied about the motor cars.

When I was in third class,
I learned about the metals like brass,
About addition, subtraction, multiplication and division,
And learned the fact that we mustn’t create destruction.

When I was in fourth class,
I learned about the bomb blasts,
Religion, nationality and also castes,
And also the reason for keeping fasts.

When I was in fifth class,
I learned that it was the last class,
Of the junior wing,
And I learned how to smartly sing.

Now I am in sixth class,
I have learned many things in the past,
But the learning process is continuous,
And it will continue all my life.

Knowledge

Knowledge
Knowledge is a thing which every moment flourishes,
It’s definitely not a thing which perishes!

Knowledge is a process that never ends,
It’s very useful, always giving us new tends!

Knowledge is a thing like an ocean of light,
After gaining it you can have a rejoicing flight!

Knowledge is a thing like a very special boat,
In the most flooded river it helps us to float!

Knowledge is a thing like a rain of nectar,
In many cases it is like a detector!

Knowledge is a thing which can’t be gained in a day,
A month, a year or probably many decades it can take!

So friends, make knowledge a part of your life,
As it can’t be cut with the world’s strongest knife!
